From March 31 to April 4, the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) organized a delegation of enterprises to participate in Hannover Messe—the industrial, technology, and information technology trade fair held in the state of Niedersachsen, Germany.

Hannover Messe is one of the world’s largest information technology exhibitions, attracting over 4,000 exhibitors from 150 economies. It presents a major opportunity for Vietnam to access international markets and expand business cooperation with partners in Europe in particular, and globally in general.

Hannover Messe 2025

Hannover Messe 2025 showcases a strong presence of artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, mechanical engineering, drive technology, and liquid energy production.

According to the Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Germany, this marks the sixth time VINASA has organized a business delegation to this event, with the goal of promoting cooperation and enhancing the presence of Vietnamese IT enterprises in key markets, including Germany.

This year, Vietnam's pavilion features the participation of 12 companies, including FPT, TMT, Luvina, GMO-Z.com, Meey Group, VEDAX, SphinX, Bac Ha, Deha, Fabbi, DBIZ, and Vconnex.

Vietnamese technology enterprises at Hannover Messe 2025, in addition to showcasing IT outsourcing (ITO) and digital transformation services, also present a range of solutions related to AI, manufacturing, green transformation, and especially semiconductors—fields that are currently gaining global corporate interest.

During the first two days of the event, VINASA met and worked with representatives from the German Asia-Pacific Business Association (OAV), the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (ZVEI), and connected businesses with the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the German Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, the Berlin Brandenburg Automotive Association, as well as many companies from Germany, Belgium, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and others.

Additionally, the delegation participated in various meetings and networking sessions with other exhibitors, promising many opportunities for future cooperation.

Hannover Messe 2025 takes place amid significant political fluctuations, Germany’s economic recession, and challenges posed by the "America First" trade policy of U.S. President Donald Trump, which threatens global trade rules. Yet, this very context underscores the increasingly vital role of the world’s largest industrial fair.

Jochen Köckler, CEO of the event organizer Deutsche Messe AG, stated: “We aim to provide a platform where policymakers and businesses can exchange ideas to discuss the necessary framework conditions for success, with the main focus on building trust in investment and spreading optimism.”

With industries ranging from manufacturing, processing, automation technology, software development services, emerging technologies, cloud computing, data, AIoT, digital energy, clean energy, digital platforms, logistics, to mobility infrastructure and charging stations, embedded systems, consulting, and management—Hannover Messe is not only a magnet for visitors but also a significant opportunity for global enterprises to connect and expand business cooperation in the field of technology.
